Okay, so the other day I got curious about this “birthday tarot card” thing I kept seeing online. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” So I did, and here’s how it went down.
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the browser. I just typed in “birthday tarot card calculator” or something like that. Lots of sites popped up, but I just picked one that looked kinda legit – you know, not too many flashing ads or anything.
Figuring Out the Formula
Turns out, it’s all about simple math. Each site pretty much had the same steps. You take your birth date and add up all the digits. My birthday is March 15, 1992, so it looked like this:

- 0 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 30
Then, because 30 is more than 22 (which is, I guess, the key number, since that is the number of tarot cards in the Major Arcana, that is, the cards that this kind of calculation deals with), I kept adding:
- 3+0 =3
So, I got a single-digit number, and it’s * is the number of my tarot card
Reading About My Card
I went back to the website and found the section explaining the card that I got– The Empress.I scrolled through the description, and honestly, some of it kinda resonated. It talked about creativity, nurturing, and abundance – stuff I’m definitely into, or at least trying to be!
It was a fun little experiment. Did it change my life? Nah. But it was a cool way to spend a few minutes and think about myself in a slightly different way. I might even try it again with my friends’ birthdays, just for kicks.
