Okay, here is my sharing today about what I did in “1243”.
So, today was a day, let me tell you. I started my morning with a cup of coffee as usual, and decided to tackle something I call “1243”. Now, “1243” isn’t some secret code or anything, it’s just the name of the personal project I gave myself.
First, I gathered all my tools. This is like, when a cook gathers the ingredients, I collected all the data I needed. We are talking about user data, some numbers from a different project, and a whole bunch of other stuff. It was a mess, I tell ya. I spent a good chunk of time just organizing this stuff. This was the “Data Collection” stage and it felt like herding cats, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

- Pulled user data from that old survey I did.
- Grabbed those KPI and OKR reports. Remember, KPI stands for key performance indicators, and OKR stands for objectives and key results. Those things are super important for knowing if you are doing good or not.
- Copied over some other numbers.
After I got all that sorted, I moved on to what I call the “cleaning” phase. I used different data processing tools to clean up the data, removed some useless data and then transformed them into another useful format, and got them ready.
Then, came the fun part. I started digging in. I was looking for patterns, you know? Like, trying to see if there was anything interesting in all those numbers. Just to understand what the heck was going on. I played around with the data, and used a tool that called “Integration Services” to put them together to see the bigger picture.
After that, I started playing around with the Master Data Services, it can be used to keep data accurate and consistent. I did some tests and verified the results, and wrote down some important notes.
My Big “Aha” Moment
And guess what? I found something! It wasn’t like a huge discovery, but it was something. It was like finding a ball in a haystack. You know, a ball is like a round thing, but sometimes we use it to describe something just generally roundish. Anyway, finding this thing made me think, “Hey, this ‘1243’ thing might actually be useful!” I spent the rest of the afternoon documenting everything, like a real designated safeguarding lead, making sure I didn’t forget any of the steps I took, or any of the credentials of this project.
So, that was my day with “1243”. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. I learned a lot, and I think I made some real progress. Tomorrow, I’ll keep at it. Who knows what other secrets I’ll uncover?
