Okay, so, the other day something kinda weird happened, and it got me thinking. I was chilling in my backyard, enjoying the sunshine, when I noticed a wasp buzzing around me. No big deal, right? Happens all the time. But then, another one showed up. And another. Soon, I felt like I was in a wasp convention, and I was the guest of honor.
I’m not usually one for the “woo-woo” stuff, but I’ve heard people talk about the spiritual meaning of animals and things. So, naturally, I started wondering, “Do these wasps have some sort of important message for me?”
First, I did the obvious – I checked myself. No sugary drinks spilled on me, no overly flowery perfume. Nothing obvious that would attract a swarm of wasps. Nope, clean as a whistle.

Then, I got down to some research. Just grabbed my phone and started Googling. I typed in “wasps being attracted to you spiritual meaning” and went down a rabbit hole of websites and forums.
- Some people were talking about wasps being a sign of new beginnings, like starting a new project or something. That did resonate a bit, ’cause I’ve been itching to finally get my shed organized.
- Others mentioned wasps representing focus and determination. Kinda made sense since, you know, they’re pretty single-minded when they’re building their nests and stuff.
- There was also talk of facing your fears. Ok I get that, I’m not going to lie, I have fear with wasp.
Honestly, after all that reading, I decided to take a more practical approach. Maybe there’s a nest nearby that I didn’t notice, maybe some flowers are attracting them. I looked around, checked the eaves of the house, the bushes, everything.
I took another look at my shed. Yep, total disaster zone. Maybe the “new beginnings” thing was about taking action and getting that project going. The wasp encounter felt like a little nudge, a reminder to stop procrastinating.
So, I started. Put on some old clothes, grabbed some boxes, and started sorting through the mess in the shed. It wasn’t glamorous, and I still felt a bit jumpy about the wasps, but I pushed through. I guess that is facing your fears.
I didn’t find a huge wasp nest, but I did clear out a bunch of clutter. And you know what? It felt good. Really good. Maybe those wasps were trying to tell me something after all. It wasn’t some mystical message from the universe, but more like a kick in the pants to get moving and tackle something I’d been putting off.

So, the wasps? Maybe they were a sign, maybe not. But they definitely got me thinking and, more importantly, doing. And that’s a win in my book.
