Okay, so I saw this thing about Venus transiting the 2nd house and how it might mean a new job. I was, like, “Sure, why not? Let’s see what happens.” I wasn’t really expecting anything, but I figured I’d play along.
My Little Experiment
First, I looked up my birth chart. I’m not gonna lie, I had to Google how to do that. I found some website, plugged in my info (birthday, time, place – the whole deal), and it spit out this chart with all these symbols and lines. I mostly focused on where Venus was and if it mentioned anything about my “2nd house”.
It did! Apparently, Venus was moving into that area. So, I started thinking, “Okay, maybe I should actually look for a new job.” I hadn’t been super happy at my current one anyway, so the timing was kinda perfect.

- I updated my resume. It was seriously outdated. Added some new skills, tweaked some descriptions, you know, the usual.
- I started browsing job boards. Just casually, nothing too intense. I saw a few things that looked interesting, but nothing that really grabbed me.
- I told a few friends I was looking. Figured networking couldn’t hurt, right?
Then, a week or so later, out of the blue, I got a message on from a recruiter. It was for a job that sounded…amazing. Seriously, it was like someone had read my mind and created the perfect position for me.
I went through the interview process – a couple of phone calls, a video interview, the whole nine yards. And guess what? I got the job!
Now, I’m not saying it was all because of Venus. I mean, I did put in the effort. But the timing was just so…weird. It really felt like the stars aligned (pun intended!). It makes a person thinks that there is somethings really working there! So yeah, that’s my Venus/2nd house/new job story. Pretty wild, huh?
