Today, I continued my fitness journey. My goal is to complete 12 sets of exercises, and I managed to do 45 reps.
Getting Started
I woke up this morning, feeling pretty good. I had a light breakfast, you know, some oatmeal and a banana, to fuel up. Then I put on my workout gear and headed to my usual spot in the living room – plenty of space there.
The Workout Process
- I started with some warm-up stretches. Gotta loosen those muscles, right? I did some arm circles, leg swings, and torso twists.
- Next, I jumped into the main workout. This time I was focused on strength. I grabbed my dumbbells, I did some squats, I did some bench presses, and some plank. Those are always a killer!
- I set out to complete 12 sets which means repeating the Squats、the bench presses and the plank12 times.
- Every time I do Squats、bench presses and plank is one rep, and I did 45 reps today.
Cooling Down
After I pushed through 45 reps, I made sure to cool down. I did some more stretches, holding each one for a good 30 seconds. It’s important to let your body recover, you know?
It is important to keep moving.
Reflection
It wasn’t easy, my arms are really sore, but I’m glad I got them done. I think I can do more next time, that’s my plan, I hope to push myself a little harder. I took some notes on how I felt during each exercise, so I can adjust things next time.
