Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole astrology thing, and “Venus trine Neptune” kept popping up. It sounded kinda magical, so I figured, why not try to vibe with it? I mean, who doesn’t want more love and creativity in their life, right?
First, I did some digging. What the heck does “trine” even mean? Apparently, it’s when planets are in a harmonious aspect, like they’re all holding hands and singing kumbaya. Venus is all about love, beauty, and pleasure, and Neptune is about dreams, intuition, and spirituality. Put them together, and you’ve supposedly got this super-charged energy for romance, artistry, and connecting with something bigger than yourself.
So, I decided to create my own little Venus trine Neptune experiment. Here’s what I did:

Setting the Mood
- Candles, baby! I lit some nice-smelling candles. I’m a sucker for anything vanilla-scented. Gotta create that soft, romantic atmosphere, you know?
- Music! I put on some dreamy, chill music. No heavy metal or anything, just some instrumental stuff that made me feel like floating on a cloud.
- Comfy clothes. Swapped my jeans for some super-soft sweatpants. Comfort is key when you’re trying to get in touch with your inner goddess.
- Alone in nature. I’m very fortunate to have a backyard, so I went outside and just looked up at the clouds.
Getting into the Venus Vibe
- Appreciated beauty.I had to be in a mental space that allowed the beauty around me to influence the rest of my practice.
- Self-love time. I took a long, hot shower, put on a face mask, and just pampered myself a bit. It’s about feeling good in your own skin.
- Indulged a little. I had a piece of that dark chocolate I’d been saving. Venus is all about pleasure, so why not, right? No guilt!
Tapping into Neptune’s Energy
- Meditation. I’m not a meditation guru or anything, but I sat quietly for a few minutes and tried to clear my head. Focused on my breath, tried not to think about my to-do list.
- Journaling.I tried to not have a goal or reason, and it was tough.
- Daydreamed. I just let my mind wander. Imagined myself in beautiful places, doing amazing things. No limits, just pure imagination.
- Got creative. I pulled out my old watercolors and just messed around. Didn’t try to paint anything specific, just let the colors flow. It was surprisingly relaxing.
The Results (So Far)
Okay, so did I suddenly become a world-renowned artist or find my soulmate? Not exactly. But I did feel…different. More relaxed, more connected to myself, and more open to possibilities. It was like a little mental and emotional reset.
I even slept more soundly. My mind was always so busy I struggle to turn my head off, but after this experiment, I was able to sleep without issues.
I think the biggest takeaway was that it’s okay to take time for yourself, to indulge in things that make you happy, and to let your imagination run wild. Whether you believe in astrology or not, those are good things to do anyway. I’m definitely going to try to incorporate more of this “Venus trine Neptune” energy into my life, even when the planets aren’t perfectly aligned. It’s all about finding your own little moments of magic, right?
