Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole astrology thing, and my Venus in the fourth house has been a real head-scratcher. I decided to actually do something about it instead of just reading about it, you know?
I started by, well, looking at my actual house. Like, really looking at it. It’s always been…fine. Comfortable enough, but nothing special. Just kind of…there. I realized I hadn’t put much effort into making it a space I truly loved.
Operation Cozy Nest
First up: decluttering. Oh boy, was that a journey. I found stuff I’d forgotten I even owned! I donated a bunch of clothes, old books, and random knick-knacks. It felt good, like I was literally making space for something new.

And, I did the unthinkable, move the large funiture around in the living room, It took me the whole morning!
Then came the fun part: making it pretty. I’m no interior designer, but I do love soft textures and warm colors. So I:
- Bought some new throw pillows. Fluffy ones, in shades of cream and dusty rose. Instant coziness upgrade.
- Got a couple of plants. I’m notoriously bad at keeping plants alive, but I’m determined to make these ones thrive. They add so much life to the room.
- Hung up some artwork. Mostly prints of landscapes and nature scenes. Things that make me feel calm and peaceful.
- Finally, put up the small, simple, and elegant mirror on the empty wall.
Next, I tackled the emotional aspect. Fourth house is all about family and your roots, right? I’ve always had a…complicated relationship with my family. Lots of unspoken stuff, you know?
So, I started small. I called my mom. Just to chat. It was awkward at first, but we ended up having a decent conversation. It wasn’t a magical fix, but it was a start. I also started looking through old family photos. It was bittersweet, but it helped me connect with my past in a new way.
The Result?
Honestly, it’s been pretty amazing. My house feels…different. Lighter, somehow. More me. I actually enjoy spending time there now, instead of just using it as a place to crash. I’ve been inviting friends over more, too. It feels good to share my space with people I care about.

And the family stuff? Still a work in progress, but I feel like I’m moving in the right direction. Taking those small steps made a big difference. It’s not about fixing everything overnight, but about making a conscious effort to nurture those connections.
So, yeah, that’s my Venus in the fourth house experiment. It’s not perfect, and I’m still figuring things out, but it’s been a really positive experience. It’s shown me the power of actually doing something, instead of just thinking about it. And hey, if I can make my home a happier, more loving place, that’s a win in my book.
