Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole astrology thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I recently noticed that transit Pluto was conjunct my natal Jupiter in my 2nd house. Now, I’m no expert, but I’ve learned enough to know that this could mean some major shifts, especially around finances, values, and self-worth. So, I decided to document what happened.
The Setup
First, I pulled up my birth chart online. Yep, there it was, Jupiter hanging out in my 2nd house. Then, I checked an ephemeris – basically a big calendar for the planets – to see where Pluto was currently transiting. Boom. They were pretty much on top of each other.
I’d read that this transit could be about transformation (Pluto) expanding (Jupiter) my resources (2nd house). It could be intense, possibly involving some kind of upheaval, but ultimately leading to growth. Or, you know, it could just be a period of mild indigestion. I was ready to observe, whatever happened.

The Experience
At first, nothing really seemed different. I went about my days, working, paying bills, the usual. But then, a few weeks in, I started noticing a shift in my thinking. I became hyper-aware of my spending habits. Every little purchase felt…significant. Like, “Do I really need this extra-fancy coffee?” I started questioning everything.
- I started tracking my expenses meticulously. Like, down to the penny. Before, I was pretty loosey-goosey with my budget.
- I found myself decluttering like crazy. My closet, my drawers, even my digital files. I was getting rid of anything that didn’t feel “essential.” It was weirdly satisfying.
- I also started exploring new ways to make money. Side hustles, investments, even just thinking about asking for a raise at work. It felt like a whole new world of possibilities was opening up.
There were some tough moments, too. I had a few unexpected expenses pop up – a car repair, a medical bill – that felt like a test. I felt a strong urge to control everything, to hold onto my resources tightly. But I also realized that clinging too tightly wasn’t the answer.
The Outcome (So Far)
It’s still ongoing, of course, these transits can last a while. But I can already see some major changes. I’m much more mindful of my finances, and I feel like I’m building a more solid foundation for the future. I have started a side hustle, It hasn’t made me rich (yet!), but it’s given me a sense of empowerment and possibility.
More importantly, I feel like I’m re-evaluating my values. What’s truly important to me? What do I want to invest my time, energy, and resources in? It’s not just about money; it’s about my overall sense of worth and abundance. I can say this thing make me feel more grounded and more aligned with what I really want. It’s been a bumpy ride, but ultimately, I think this transit is pushing me to grow in ways I never expected.
