Okay, so I’ve been on this whole “spiritual meaning of colors” kick lately. It started with a random Instagram post, and I just fell down the rabbit hole. I decided to start with pink because, well, it’s my favorite color. I wanted to see if there was more to it than just “pretty.”
First, I grabbed my journal and a pen. I like to keep track of these things, you know? Kind of like a little experiment.
My Pink Experiment
I decided to surround myself with pink for a week. Sounds silly, I know, but I was curious. I started by changing my phone wallpaper to a soft, rosy image. Then I dug out all my pink clothes – surprisingly, I had more than I thought!
- Day 1: I wore a pink sweater. Honestly, I just felt… cozy. Nothing earth-shattering, but I did notice I was smiling more.
- Day 2: I bought myself pink flowers. I put them on my desk where I work. It definitely brightened up the space, and I felt a little more… optimistic?
- Day 3: I used a pink highlighter in my planner. Okay, this is getting a bit ridiculous, even for me. But, I did feel strangely calm when I was organizing my week.
- Day 4: I found a pink crystal – rose quartz, I think it’s called – at a local shop. I carried it around in my pocket. This was when things started feeling a bit different. More… connected, maybe?
- Day 5: I meditated with the rose quartz. I’m not a big meditator, but I tried to focus on feelings of love and compassion. It was… surprisingly powerful. I actually felt a little emotional.
- Day 6 & 7: I just continued to incorporate pink into my day – pink mugs, pink socks, you name it. I also started reading more about the color’s association with unconditional love, nurturing, and compassion.
By the end of the week, I didn’t have any wild revelations, but I did feel a shift. I felt more open, more loving, and definitely more in tune with my emotions. Pink, for me, became less about the aesthetic and more about a feeling – a gentle, warm, and loving energy. I keep use that pink crystal,my little reminder to be kind to myself and others.
