Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I got curious about this one card, the Six of Wands. Specifically, I wanted to see if I could use it for simple “yes” or “no” questions. Here’s how it went down:
My Little Experiment
First, I shuffled my deck, like, a lot. I wanted to make sure it was good and mixed up. Then, I held the deck in my hand and thought really hard about the question I wanted to ask. It was something simple, like, “Will I get that freelance gig I applied for?” Nothing too crazy.
I focused on the question, picturing the email I sent, the company, everything. With the question clear in my mind, I cut the deck and flipped over the top card.

And boom! It was the Six of Wands.
Now, from what I’ve read, the Six of Wands is generally a pretty positive card. It’s all about victory, success, and being recognized for your hard work. So, my gut reaction was, “Heck yeah! This is a good sign!”
- First Try: I took it as a “yes.” I mean, victory and success? Sounds like getting the gig to me.
- Second Try: I did it again, just to be sure. Different question this time, something about whether a friend would like a gift I got them. Six of Wands again! Okay, feeling pretty confident about this.
- Third Try: One more time, just for kicks. Asked about whether I should try a new coffee shop. And… Six of Wands. Seriously? This card was showing up a lot!
The card, at least for my quick little test, pointed towards a positive answer that mean it’s going well.
Honestly, it was a fun little exercise. I’m not saying the Six of Wands is a magic 8-ball, but it definitely gave me a positive vibe for my questions. I wouldn’t make any life-altering decisions based on it, but for simple stuff? It’s kinda cool.
