Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “dream interpretation” thing lately, and I saw something about the color yellow popping up in dreams. It got me thinking about a weird dream I had last night, so I decided to dive in and see what I could find out. Figured I’d share my little experiment here, just in case anyone else is curious.
My Yellow Dream Experiment
First off, I had to remember the dream. That’s always the hardest part, right? I grabbed a notebook and pen, kept it by my bed, and as soon as I woke up, I started scribbling down everything I could recall. It was mostly blurry, but I definitely remembered a big, bright yellow school bus. Super vivid. No idea why.
Next, I hit the internet. I just typed in “yellow in dreams meaning” into a search engine and, boom, tons of stuff came up. Some of it was pretty out there, talking about chakras and energy fields… not really my thing. But a lot of it kept mentioning things like:

- Happiness and joy
- Intellect and wisdom
- Caution or warning
- Cowardice (yikes!)
So, a mixed bag, basically. It seemed like the meaning of yellow really depended on the context of the dream. I went back to my notes about the school bus. I didn’t feel scared or anything in the dream, more… nostalgic? Like I was going back to something familiar.
I thought about what’s been going on in my life lately. Lots of changes at work, new projects, feeling a little overwhelmed. Maybe the school bus was a symbol of going back to basics? Learning new things? Or maybe it was just my brain processing all the new information I’ve been bombarded with.
Honestly, I didn’t come to any grand conclusions. It wasn’t some life-altering revelation. But it was kind of fun to play detective with my own subconscious. It got me thinking about how much weird stuff goes on in our heads while we’re sleeping.
Maybe It represents some aspects that I shoud pay more attention to in waking life.

I might keep doing this dream journaling thing. Who knows what other colorful nonsense is lurking in my brain? I recommeded everyone give it a try.
