Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 500 everywhere. Like, seriously everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks – it was kinda freaking me out. I’m not usually one for signs and stuff, but this felt… different. So, I decided to do a little digging and, well, things got interesting.
My 500 Angel Number Experiment
First, I grabbed my phone and googled “500 angel number.” You know, just to see what the internet had to say. I scrolled through a bunch of websites, and a few things kept popping up: change, freedom, life lessons, motivation. Sounded pretty broad, but hey, I was committed.
My next step was to actually pay attention. I mean, really pay attention. I started a little journal – nothing fancy, just a notes app on my phone – and jotted down every time I saw 500. But I didn’t stop there. I also noted what I was doing, thinking, or feeling right before I saw it.

- Day 1: Saw 500 on a coffee cup. Was feeling stressed about a work project.
- Day 2: 500 popped up on a billboard while I was driving. Was daydreaming about a vacation.
- Day 3: The total on my grocery bill? You guessed it – $5.00. Had just been thinking about needing to make some changes to my diet.
I am starting getting interesting.
After a week of this, I sat down and reviewed my notes. I noticed a pattern. Most of the time, the number 500 showed up when I was either feeling stuck or thinking about making a change in my life. It was like a little nudge, a reminder to, you know, actually do something about it.
So, I decided to take action. I brainstormed some small steps I could take towards those changes I’d been thinking about. For the work project, I broke it down into smaller, more manageable tasks. For the vacation, I started looking at flights and hotels. And for my diet, I swapped out one sugary snack for a piece of fruit.
It’s still early days, but I have to say, I’m feeling… lighter. More motivated. Like I’m actually moving forward instead of just spinning my wheels. Whether it’s the angel number 500 itself or just the act of paying attention and taking action, something’s definitely shifting. I can’t say I’m a full convert to the whole angel number thing, but this little experiment has definitely opened my eyes to the power of, well, noticing the signs and taking control of my own life.

And I will continue to record my 500 journey.
