Okay, so, last night I had this crazy idea to mess around with those AI image generators, you know, the ones where you type in some words and it spits out a picture? I’ve seen some wild stuff online, and I figured, why not try to conjure up something really specific, like “dreams about the devil”? Sounds creepy, right? Well, I wanted to see what these AIs would come up with.
First, I jumped onto my computer and opened up a few of those AI image generator websites. I think I used three different ones, just to get a variety of results. You know, see which one was the “best” at being spooky.
The Process
- Started with the first site. I just typed in “dreams about the devil,” plain and simple. I didn’t mess with any of the fancy settings or anything, just hit “generate.”
- Waited… It took, like, a minute, which felt like forever when you’re expecting some demonic masterpiece.
- Then, boom! The first image popped up. It was… interesting. Kind of a blurry mess of red and black, with some vague shapes that might have been horns? I guess?
So I moved on to the second site. This time, I tried to be a little more descriptive. I typed in something like “a vivid, terrifying dream about the devil, with fire and darkness.” I figured more words might give it more to work with.

- Again, I waited. This one was a bit faster, maybe 30 seconds.
- The image that appeared was definitely more detailed. There was a clear figure, all shadowy and menacing, with glowing red eyes. And yeah, plenty of fire. It was actually pretty cool, in a disturbing way.
Finally, I headed over to the third site. This one had a bunch of style options, like “photorealistic” or “artistic.” I picked “artistic” and typed in a similar phrase to the last one. I also selected a dark red and purple, using the color selector.
- I clicked enter, and watched as the AI program worked.
- Out came a piece of work that was far better than I expected.
The Results
Honestly, the results were all over the place. Some were just abstract blobs, others were surprisingly detailed and creepy. It’s kind of hit-or-miss, but that’s part of the fun, I guess. You never really know what you’re going to get. I saved a few of the best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) images. It’s kind of wild to think that a computer program can come up with this stuff just from a few words.
It’s kind of funny I tried my prompt and it worked.
