Okay, so today I wanted to figure out this whole Sade Sati thing. You know, that seven-and-a-half-year period of Saturn’s transit that’s supposed to be, well, challenging? I’ve heard about it, but I wanted to understand it better and see how it actually works. So, I decided to dive in and calculate it for myself and a few friends.
Getting Started
First, I needed to find a reliable way to calculate Sade Sati. I’m no astrologer, so I needed something simple. I hit up the internet and started searching.
Finding a Calculator
I found a few different websites that offered Sade Sati calculators. Honestly, some of them looked a bit…sketchy. Like, flashing banners and weird fonts. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. I finally found one that seemed pretty straightforward and didn’t look like it was going to give my computer a virus.

The Process
It’s very simple.
- Firstly,I needed to input birth details: birth date, time, and place.
- Secondly,I hit “Calculate”.
- Thirdly, the website did its thing and spit out the results.
Making Sense of the Results
The calculator gave me the Sade Sati periods, including start and end dates. I was able to see where Saturn was transiting in relation to my Moon sign (Rashi). It explained how it affects to people.
Experimenting
Of course, I didn’t just calculate it for myself. I plugged in the birth details of a couple of friends, just to see how the dates differed. It was interesting to see how the timing shifted based on their Moon signs.
Thinking About the “Affect” Part
Now, the calculator just gave me the dates. It didn’t really tell me what to do with that information. The website I used did have some general descriptions of what each phase of Sade Sati might feel like.

The Result
I went to calculate Sade Sati. I put in birthdate, time and place and I got the result. It’s quite interesting.
