Okay, so I’ve been on this whole “spirit animal” kick lately, right? Trying to figure out my inner critter, you know? And, well, I landed on the rat. Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re thinking. But hear me out!
The Experiment Begins
I decided to dive deep, really become one with the rat. I started by, well, observing. I spent a good chunk of time just watching videos of rats. City rats, fancy rats, lab rats – the whole shebang. I needed to see how they move, how they interact, what makes them tick.
Getting Down and Dirty (Not Literally)
Next, it was time to channel my inner rat. I started to think like a rat. I found myself becoming more resourceful.

- Resourcefulness: Rats are survivors. They make the most of what they have. I started to think this way and try to apply it.
- Cleverness: Rats are known to be very intelligent, figuring out mazes and traps. I tried to use this cleverness in my own way in my daily life.
- Adaptability: Rats are incredibly adaptable, thriving in diverse environments. I found myself rolling with the punches a bit easier, handling unexpected changes with a little more grace.
It was kinda weird, but also kinda… empowering? I felt this sense of resilience, this ability to just get things done. It also made me think about how we judge things – and creatures – so quickly, without really understanding them.
The Rat Reflection
So, yeah, my spirit animal might be a rat. And you know what? I’m okay with that. It’s not about the fluffy, cuddly image. It’s about the spirit, the drive, the sheer will to survive and thrive. And that’s something I can definitely get behind.
