Okay, so I’ve been messing around with astrology charts lately, and I got really curious about what it means to be a Pisces with Pisces rising. I’m a Pisces myself, so, you know, double the fish, double the fun… or double the confusion? I decided to dig in and see what’s up.
Diving In Headfirst (Like a Fish)
First thing I did was pull up my own birth chart. I already knew I was a Pisces sun, but I needed to confirm my rising sign. Yep, Pisces rising too! Apparently, that makes me a “double Pisces.” I started Googling like crazy, trying to piece together what all this meant.
I used this free online chart calculator, plugged in my birth date, time (super important for the rising sign!), and place. Boom! There it was, my chart, staring back at me with all its symbols and lines. Initially I thought it was confusing. But I focused on getting my rising.

The Emotional Rollercoaster Begins
From what I gathered, having both your sun and rising sign in Pisces means you’re, well, really Pisces. Like, all the Pisces traits are amplified. I started reading about heightened sensitivity, intuition, and a tendency to get lost in daydreams. It was like reading my own diary! It’s all about emotional support for other people, all the time! No escaping it.
Putting It to the Test
I thought it was a good experiment to try to understand my own feelings. If I feel them so strong, could I put a lable on them? Here is my list:
- Meditation Experiment: I committed to meditating every day for a week, just 10 minutes in the morning. The goal was to see if I could tap into that supposed Pisces intuition and maybe get a little more grounded.
- Dream Journal: Pisces are known for vivid dreams, I started keeping a dream journal by my bed. I figured writing them down might help me decipher some of those subconscious messages.
- Emotional Check-ins: This one was tougher. I tried to be more aware of my emotional state throughout the day. When I felt overwhelmed, I’d take a few deep breaths and try to identify why I was feeling that way.
The Results (So Far)
Honestly? It’s been a mixed bag. The meditation definitely helped me feel a little less chaotic. The dream journal is full of some seriously weird stuff, but I haven’t quite cracked the code yet. And the emotional check-ins? Well, let’s just say I’m still learning to ride those emotional waves. There are so many!
I feel good, but I’m still figuring things out. I’m basically a walking, talking Pisces stereotype, but with a little extra self-awareness (maybe?). It’s a journey, not a destination, right? Now it’s nap time.
