Okay, so I wanted to figure out if this new project idea was a go or a total bust. I’m not really a tarot expert, but I’ve got this deck I mess with sometimes, so I figured, why not try a simple “yes or no” reading? I decided to go with the Three of Swords because I had read a little about it online.
I shuffled the deck, thinking real hard about my project – like, really focusing on it. Then I pulled a single card, hoping for some cosmic guidance,I guess. And bam! There it was, the Three of Swords. Honestly, my first thought was, “Oh great, three swords through a heart, this can not be good.”
I went online and did some quick reading about what the Three of Swords card means for yes or no questions, it seems I got my answer.

It’s kind of a bummer because, you know, the card’s image is pretty harsh, right? Heart, swords, the whole shebang. After reading about this card it felt like a big “NO” was staring me in the face. It generally indicates a ‘no’ answer, representing a sense of loss and separation.
So, based on the Three of Swords showing up, I’m taking it as a sign to maybe rethink my project. It is best not to make any wild decisions at this point. I need to make some thoughtful steps moving forward, so I’ll probably go back to the drawing board, tweak some things, or maybe even put it on the back burner for a while.
It’s not the end of the world, just a little detour. Gotta listen to the universe sometimes, even if it’s through a somewhat depressing-looking tarot card!
