Okay, so today I messed around with the numbers 58 and 45. I was thinking, what can I do with these? Just kinda playing around, you know?
The First Attempt: Subtraction
First, I went simple. I subtracted 45 from 58. I grabbed my phone, opened the calculator app, and punched it in.
- Started with 58.
- Subtracted 45.
- The calculator showed me 13.
Super basic, right? But it got me thinking about the difference between these two numbers.

Playing with Addition
Then, I figured, let’s add them up. Back to the calculator I went. I cleared the previous result and entered 58 + 45.
This time, I got 103. It felt kinda cool to see how these two numbers could combine to make a bigger one.
Trying Multiplication for Kicks
Then I did a little thinking. How can I make a bigger number? So, time for multiplication! I’m not gonna lie, I definitely used the calculator for this one. 58 multiplied by 45 is, I pressed the calculator buttons.
- Input 58.
- Used the multiply function (that little ‘x’ button).
- Input 45.
- Hit equals.
The calculator displayed a much bigger number: 2610.

Division… Why Not?
Okay, last one. Let’s divide! I went 58 divided by 45, just to keep it consistent. Of course, back to the calculator.
I got a decimal number this time: 1.2888888889. I rounded that off in my head to about 1.29. Makes sense, since 58 is a little bigger than 45.
So yeah, that was my little number adventure for the day. Nothing crazy, just a bit of fun messing around with numbers and seeing what happens. Maybe I find other intersting numbers I could play around next time!
