Okay, so, the “moon in the third house” thing. I’ve been messing around with this for a bit, and I wanted to share what I’ve been up to. It all started because I’ve been feeling, you know, restless. Like I needed to shake things up, learn something new, connect with people differently.
Getting Started
First, I dug into what the third house even is. Turns out, it’s all about communication, learning, and your local environment. Like, your siblings, neighbors, short trips, and how you process information. And the moon? That’s your emotions, your inner self, your instincts.
So, moon in the third house? It’s supposed to mean you’re super sensitive to the vibes around you, you probably love to learn and share ideas, and your emotions are tied to how you communicate and connect.

My Little Experiment
I decided to lean into this. To see if I could, I don’t know, amplify these traits? Here’s what I did:
- Started Journaling (Like, Really Journaling): Not just “Dear Diary” stuff, but really trying to understand my reactions to things. Why did that conversation with my neighbor make me feel so anxious? What did I learn from that random article I read online?
- Took a Short Trip: Nothing fancy, just a day trip to a nearby town I’d never been to. I made a point of talking to people, asking for recommendations, just soaking it all in.
- Signed Up for a Class: Something totally out of my comfort zone – a pottery class! I figured it would be a good way to learn something new, meet new people, and express myself in a different way.
- Called an old friend: I have been always anxious to speak with my old friends and this time I tried to speak with a friend I used to go to school with.
What Happened?
Okay, so it wasn’t like a magical transformation. But…I did notice some things.
- More in tune with my surrondings:It felt easier to put my feelings into words, which actually helped me process them better.
- The conversations were more natural: It was surprisingly easy to chat with strangers, and I even made a new friend at the pottery class!
- Express myself freely: I realized how much I’d been holding back, and how good it felt to just…express myself, even if it was just through a lopsided clay bowl.
- Friend were very happy to listen to me: My old friend was happy to hear from me, and we have planned to meet up again this coming holiday.
It’s still a work in progress. But I’m definitely feeling more connected, more curious, and more…me. It’s like I’ve opened up a new channel of communication, both with myself and with the world around me. If you’re feeling that restless itch, maybe give some of these things a try. You might be surprised at what you discover!
