Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with combining numbers, specifically 13 and 56. I’ve been seeing these numbers pop up a lot lately, so I thought, “Why not play with them?”
First, I just added them together. Simple, right? 13 + 56 = 69. Nothing too crazy there.
Then, I thought, let’s try subtracting. I did 56 – 13 (the bigger number first, of course) and got 43. Still pretty basic stuff.

Next up, I wanted to see what happened if I multiplied them. So, I punched in 13 56 on my calculator and got 728. It’s a bigger number, but still, nothing really jumped out at me.
I even tried dividing. I did 56 / 13, and that gave me about 4.31 (rounded to two decimal places). Getting a little more interesting with the decimal, but not by much.
Playing with the Digits
After those basic operations, I got a little more creative. I decided to look at the individual digits. We have 1, 3, 5, and 6.
- I added all the digits: 1 + 3 + 5 + 6 = 15.
- Subtracted (kind of): (5+6)-(1+3)=7
I even thought, “What if I just slammed the numbers together to make new ones?” So, I created 1356 and 5613. I added, subtracted, and multiplied those. I don’t want make this too long to read.
Honestly, it was just a random thing I did today. There’s no big reveal or secret code I cracked. Just a bit of number play to keep my brain busy. Maybe it’ll spark some ideas for you, maybe not. Either way, it was a fun little experiment for me!
