Okay, so, I got into this whole tarot reading thing a while back, and let me tell you, it’s been a trip. Today, I wanted to share my experience with doing a love tarot spread. I was feeling a bit curious about my love life, you know, the usual, and thought, why not give it a shot?
First off, I grabbed my tarot deck. It’s this beautiful deck I found online. I laid out a cloth on my table. Nothing fancy, just something to set the mood, you know?
Getting Started
- Cleansed the space. I just waved some sage around. I’m not really sure if it does anything, but it feels right.
- Shuffled the cards. I took my time with this, really trying to focus my energy and think about my love life.
- Cut the deck into three piles and then put them back together. This part always feels important, like I’m really starting to connect with the cards.
Then came the fun part – actually laying out the spread. I decided to go with a simple three-card spread. I drew the first card, which was supposed to represent my past love experiences. And wow, it was spot on. It showed a card that basically screamed past heartbreaks and lessons learned.

The second card was about my current love situation. It was a bit tricky to understand, but after sitting with it for a while, I started to see how it reflected my present feelings and challenges in my relationship. Honestly, it felt like the card was calling me out on some things I hadn’t really faced up to.
The final card, the one about the future, that was a real eye-opener. It suggested new beginnings and potential for growth. It was all positive vibes, which was a relief, to be honest.
After I finished the reading, I took some time to just sit with what I’d learned. I jotted down some notes in my journal, you know, the usual, trying to make sense of it all.
It’s not like the cards gave me all the answers or anything, but they definitely gave me some things to think about. This whole tarot reading thing, it’s more about getting in touch with yourself and your feelings than getting solid answers, at least for me.
So yeah, that was my little adventure with the love tarot spread. It’s something I’ll probably do again. It’s a neat little way to check in with yourself and see what’s up in your heart. If you’re thinking about trying it, I say go for it. Just remember to keep an open mind and not take things too literally. It’s all about the journey, right?
