Okay, so today I messed around with this “36 – 22” thing. It wasn’t super clear what it was at first, but I figured, why not give it a shot?
I started by, you know, just looking at the numbers. 36 and 22. What could I do with them? My first thought was subtraction. Simple enough, right? So I deducted 22 from 36, and boom, got 14. That was… underwhelming.
Then, I thought, maybe it’s some kind of code? Like, coordinates or something? I tried plotting them on a pretend graph in my head, but that didn’t really lead anywhere. It just looked like two random points.

Next, I tried treating them like ratios. 36 to 22. I simplified it down, dividing both by 2, and got 18 to 11. Still, nothing clicked. It just felt like another dead end. I was starting to feel like this was some kind of riddle with no answer.
I even attempted to combine the numbers in different ways. I added them (36 + 22 = 58), multiplied them (36 22 = 792), and even tried some weird stuff like concatenating them (3622). All of that didn’t feel correct, to be frank.
After staring at these numbers for what felt like forever, I realized I was probably overthinking it. Maybe it’s just… two numbers. No secret meaning, no hidden code. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one.
I decided to make some exercise with them. I set the stopwatch, and did 36 push-ups and 22 sit-ups.
It suddenly hit me. It’s a comparison. The 36 push-ups is more challeging than 22 sit-ups.

So, yeah, that’s my “36 – 22” adventure. Not exactly earth-shattering, but it was a good practice, I guess. A reminder that sometimes, things are exactly what they seem. And that, you will get the answer when you are not looking for it.
