Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I kept pulling the King of Swords when I was asking about how someone felt about me. It was kinda driving me nuts, so I decided to really dig in and figure this card out, once and for all.
My Deep Dive into the King of Swords
First, I grabbed my favorite tarot deck and spread out all the cards. I picked out the King of Swords and just stared at it for a good while. I mean, really looked at it – the stern-looking king, the sword held high, all that stuff.
Then, I grabbed my notebook – the one I use for all my random thoughts and journaling – and started jotting down everything that came to mind. Things like:

- Intellectual: This guy is all about the mind, right? Logic, reason, all that head stuff.
- Clear-headed: No room for fuzzy feelings or emotional outbursts. He’s got it all figured out.
- Direct: He’s not going to beat around the bush. He’ll tell you exactly what he thinks.
- Authoritative: He’s in charge, and he knows it. Not in a bad way, necessarily, but he’s definitely a leader.
- Detached:This is very important about the emotions.
So, I started thinking, if this card represents someone’s feelings, it’s probably not all warm and fuzzy, right? It’s more like… they respect you. They admire your intelligence. They might even see you as someone they can have really stimulating conversations with. But are they head-over-heels in love? Probably not.
I kept pulling cards, asking more specific questions like, “What are their intentions?” and “What’s the potential here?” And the cards that came up alongside the King of Swords started to paint a clearer picture. Sometimes, it seemed like there was potential for a really strong, mentally-stimulating connection, but other times, it felt like… maybe things would stay on a more platonic level.
It’s also important to reminded that this is a very independent card. It can be great, it mean he has no longer other people and focus is only on me. But, it also may very bad, I have to pay attention to the other cards, to see whether there are bad signs.
Honestly, figuring out the King of Swords as feelings has been a bit of a rollercoaster. It’s not the easiest card to interpret, especially when your heart is involved! But I feel like I’ve gotten a much better handle on it now. It’s all about understanding the nuances and seeing how it fits into the bigger picture. And hey, even if it’s not the most romantic card, a strong mental connection is definitely something worth exploring, right?
