Okay, so here’s my experience with the King of Pentacles when trying to get a simple “yes” or “no” answer.
I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, just for fun, you know? Recently, I had this thing I was really hoping would work out. Nothing major, just a small project I wanted to get off the ground. I was kind of stuck and needed a little nudge, some kind of sign to tell me if I should go for it or not.
So, I decided to do a quick yes-or-no reading with my tarot deck. I shuffled the cards, focusing on my question: “Should I move forward with this project?” I was feeling a bit nervous, to be honest. I really wanted this to work, but I was also scared of failing.

I cut the deck, pulled a card, and flipped it over. It was the King of Pentacles. Now, I’m no tarot expert, but I’ve read a bit about the cards. I knew the King of Pentacles was generally a good sign, but what did it mean in a yes-or-no situation?
I remembered reading somewhere that this card is usually a “yes.” I grabbed my phone and started reading up on it again, just to be sure. Most of what I read was saying “yes,” but there were also a couple of things I found that talked about it meaning “no” if the card was upright, because it’s like, stubborn and holding onto things. Man, that got me confused!
I started to get a bit down because I was so unsure. But then I saw something that said the card was a “yes” for health readings, showing strength and stuff. That made me think, maybe it’s a “yes” for my project too, since I need to be strong to get it going?
After all that reading and thinking, I decided to take the King of Pentacles as a positive sign. It felt right, you know? It was like the universe was telling me to be confident, to put in the work, and that things would likely work out. I even thought about how in the picture, the king was sitting there all comfortable and successful. I imagined myself like that, feeling good about my project.
And guess what? I went for it! I started putting more energy into the project, and things actually started moving forward. It wasn’t easy, but I kept at it. And you know what? It’s actually working out pretty well. I’m not totally there yet, but I’m feeling good about it. It’s like the King of Pentacles gave me the push I needed to see this thing through.

So, based on my experience, here are the main takeaways about the card:
- Most of the time, it means “Yes.”
- Sometimes upright means “No.”
- Health readings mostly means “Yes.”
- After reading all this, I think that means “Yes.”
So yeah, if you pull the King of Pentacles in a yes-or-no reading, I’d say it’s a pretty good sign. It might not be a guaranteed “yes,” but it definitely suggests that you’re on the right track and that success is within reach if you’re willing to put in the effort. At least, that’s how it worked out for me. Remember it is just a card, you should keep it in your mind.
