Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something I’ve been reading about called “composite aspects” in karma astrology. Basically, it’s like taking two people’s birth charts and combining them to see the karmic connections between them. Sounds kinda woo-woo, right? But I’m a curious cat, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I grabbed my own birth chart and the chart of… well, let’s just call him “Mr. X” to keep things interesting.😉 I used one of those free online chart calculators – plenty of them around. Just popped in our birth dates, times, and locations, and bam, two charts ready to go.
Diving into the Composite
Next, I needed to create the composite chart. Again, I found an online tool to do this. You basically enter both people’s birth data, and the tool calculates the midpoints between all the planets and angles. It’s like averaging out the two charts to create a “relationship chart.”

Once I had the composite chart, it was time to look for the “karmic aspects.” This is where it gets a little tricky, and honestly, I’m still wrapping my head around it. I focused on a few key things:
- Saturn: Apparently, Saturn in the composite chart can show areas of karmic responsibility or challenges in the relationship.
- Nodes of the Moon: These are points in the chart related to past lives and destiny. I looked for aspects to the composite North and South Nodes.
- 12th House: This house is often associated with the subconscious, hidden things, and… you guessed it, karma.
- Aspects involving Chiron, and outer planets(Uranus,Neptune,Pluto): Aspects that indicate a relationship between the outer planets and Chiron can reveal karmic wounds.
I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the composite chart, making notes of any aspects that involved these points. It was a bit like a cosmic puzzle. For example, I noticed that composite Saturn was square the composite Moon, which supposedly indicates some emotional restrictions or responsibilities in the karmic dynamic. I even made notes for myself that are related to Chiron and outer planets, it shows where and what kind of past-life wounds that we will have to take care of.
My (Very) Preliminary Conclusions
To be totally honest, I’m not 100% sure what to make of it all yet. It’s a lot of information to digest, and I definitely need to do more reading. But it was fascinating to see the patterns that emerged. There were some aspects that resonated with my experience with Mr. X, which was a little spooky… in a good way? I think?
I’m not saying this is definitive proof of anything, but it’s definitely given me some food for thought. I might try this with other relationships in my life, just to see what comes up. It’s all about exploring and learning, right? And maybe gaining a little insight into the cosmic dance we’re all doing.
I will do more reading and study about this topic.
