Okay, so I’ve been diving into astrology lately, specifically looking at Jupiter in the first house. I’m no expert, but I wanted to see how it plays out in my own life. I started by looking at my birth chart, you can find this by searching online for a free birth chart calculator and you need your birth date, time, and location.
My Jupiter is indeed in my first house. This is supposed to mean things like optimism, a love of learning, and maybe even a bit of a lucky streak. Sounds pretty good, right?
My Experiment Started
So, I decided to track some stuff to see if I could spot any of these “Jupiter in the first house” traits in action.

- Optimism: I started a daily gratitude journal. Just writing down a few things I was thankful for each day. I was thinking, that maybe I can find what is making me happy.
- Learning: I picked up a book I’d been meaning to read forever, something totally outside my usual stuff. And also try to learn new things online.
- Luck: Okay, this one’s a little harder to measure. I just decided to be more open to opportunities, saying “yes” a bit more than usual.
What I’ve Noticed
It’s only been a few weeks, but I have noticed a few things. The gratitude journal? Surprisingly helpful. I do feel a bit more positive overall. It’s like I’m training my brain to focus on the good stuff.
The learning thing is cool too. I started doing this course I’ve wanted to do and I actually looked forward to reading it. It’s nice to stretch my brain in a different way.
As for the “luck” part… well, I did get a small, unexpected freelance gig. Coincidence? Maybe. But hey, I’ll take it!
Overall, I don’t think I was suddenly transformed into a super-optimistic, knowledge-hungry, lucky person. But I do feel like I’m more aware of these tendencies in myself. And actively engaging with them, even in small ways, seems to be making a difference. I plan to keep these little practices and see where they take me.
