Okay, so today I decided to dive into this whole “gorilla animal totem” thing. I’ve been feeling like I need some extra strength and grounding in my life lately, and I remembered reading something about animal totems. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
My Gorilla Totem Exploration
First, I spent some time just sitting quietly and trying to clear my head. I wanted to be open to whatever came up. I kind of pictured a gorilla in my mind, you know, big and powerful, but also calm and watchful.
Then, I did some reading online. I just wanted to get a general sense of what the gorilla represents as a totem. Stuff about leadership, protection, family, and responsibility kept popping up. It all felt very… solid.

After that, I got more active. I spent a good chunk of the day working to connect and to think about the gorilla.
- Thinking like a Gorilla:I really focused on being deliberate in my actions. No rushing, no half-doing things. Everything I did, I tried to do with intention and presence.
- Observing like a Gorilla: I tried to really pay attention to my surroundings. To notice the small things, the details. Kind of like a gorilla in the forest, being aware of everything around it.
- Taking Action: I made a point of doing a phsical exercise.I tried to connect with that sense of physical strength and stability.
It was interesting! I definitely felt a shift in my energy. More grounded, more focused. Less *’s not like I suddenly became a super-powered gorilla-man or anything, but I could feel a difference. It was like tapping into a different part of myself, a part that’s strong and steady.
So, yeah, that was my day with the gorilla totem. I’m not sure if I’ll do it every day, but it’s definitely something I want to explore further. It’s a cool way to connect with nature and maybe even learn something about myself in the process.
