Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, trying to get a handle on this whole “divination” thing. Today, I was focusing on getting simple “yes” or “no” answers, and I decided to use the Three of Pentacles as a test case. I mean, it looks like a pretty positive card, right?
So, here’s what I did. First, I cleared my space. Just kinda tidied up my desk, lit a candle (mostly for the vibes, to be honest), and shuffled my deck. I’m still a total newbie, so my shuffling is probably more like “awkwardly mixing the cards,” but hey, I’m trying!
Then, I focused on my question. I’ve been thinking about joining this online coding workshop. It’s a bit of an investment, and I’m not sure if it’s the right move for me right now. So, my question was, pretty simply: “Will joining this coding workshop be beneficial for my career?”

I held the deck in my hands, closed my eyes for a sec, and really tried to feel the question, you know? Like, I pictured myself in the workshop, learning new stuff, maybe even feeling a little overwhelmed but ultimately successful. Then, I drew a card.
And… boom. Three of Pentacles.
Now, I’d read a little bit about this card beforehand. I knew it was all about teamwork, learning, and building skills. Some websites even said straight up that it’s often a “yes” in career readings, especially when it comes to things that involve collaboration or learning something new.
I laid the card out on my desk and just stared at it for a while. The image shows these three guys in what looks like a cathedral or workshop, and they’re all focused on this building project. One of them seems to be an architect, holding up the plans, and the others are like, the skilled craftsmen, doing the actual work.
I thought about how that image related to my question. The workshop is about learning a new skill (coding). It does involve working with others (it’s a group thing). And it is about building something (my career, hopefully!).

My Interpretation
- Teamwork: The workshop is all about collaborating and learning from others. The Three of Pentacles totally vibes with that.
- Skill Building: Coding is definitely a skill, and the card is all about craftsmanship and mastering a trade.
- Long-Term Investment: The image on the card looks like a long-term project, and that’s how I see my career – a long-term thing I’m building.
So, based on my super scientific and totally expert analysis (haha!), I took the Three of Pentacles as a big, fat YES. It felt like the cards were saying, “Go for it! This workshop is right up your alley.”
I’m still a little nervous about the whole thing, but pulling that card definitely gave me a boost of confidence. I’m going to do a little more research on the workshop, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to sign up. Wish me luck!
