Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 200 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, even the page number of the book I was reading! It felt like more than a coincidence, so I decided to look into it. Turns out, it’s a thing called an “angel number.” I was kinda skeptical, but hey, I was curious.
My “200” Experiment
I decided to treat it like a little experiment. I figured, if this “angel number” thing is real, and 200 is supposed to mean good stuff is coming, I should probably put myself in a position to receive it, right?
So, here’s what I did:

- Started saying “yes” more. I’m usually a homebody, but I started accepting invitations to things, even if I wasn’t super thrilled about them. Figured I’d open myself up to new opportunities.
- Dusted off an old project. I had this idea for a small online store that I’d abandoned months ago. It felt like a big undertaking, but I decided to just start small, work on it for an hour each day.
- Kept a “good things” journal. Every day, I wrote down anything positive that happened, no matter how small. Just to train my brain to notice the good stuff.
It wasn’t like magic, but stuff did start happening. Within a week, I landed a small freelance gig, totally out of the blue. It wasn’t a fortune, but it was definitely unexpected. Then, an old friend reached out who had some great advice about my online store idea. And honestly, just writing down the good things each day made me realize I had more going for me than I thought.
Did It Really Work?
I’m still not sure if I 100% buy into the whole “angel number” thing. But, I can’t deny that focusing on 200 as a sign of good things to come kind of…worked. It wasn’t the number itself, I think, but the fact that it made me pay attention and take action. It gave me a little push to do things I probably wouldn’t have otherwise.
So, if you’re seeing 200 everywhere, maybe there’s something to it, maybe not. But either way, it might be a good excuse to shake things up a bit and see what happens. What have you got to lose?
