My Little Project
Alright, so I’ve been mulling over this Neptune in Taurus thing lately. Not in some high-flying astrology way, just thinking about what it feels like in real life, you know? Like, tangible stuff meeting… well, fog? Or maybe just weirdness.
It got me thinking back to a little project I tried a while back. I decided I wanted something really solid, really dependable in my garden. Taurus vibes, right? Stable, earthy. So, I went out and bought this nice, heavy-duty stone birdbath. Weighed a ton. Found the perfect spot, nice and level, where I could see it from the kitchen window. Felt good, real permanent.
Setting it Up

The process started simple enough:
- Dragged the base out. That took some effort.
- Leveled the ground meticulously. Used a spirit level and everything.
- Hefted the top basin onto the base. Got it lined up just right.
- Filled it with fresh water. Stood back and admired it. Solid.
Felt really grounded doing it. Like I was building a tiny monument to stability right there in the yard.
Things Got… Strange
But then, the Neptune part seemed to creep in. First, the water level kept dropping way faster than evaporation could explain. No obvious leaks, I checked all over. It just… vanished. Felt dreamy, like maybe I imagined filling it so high?
Then, weird stuff started appearing in it. Not just leaves, but odd things. One day, a single, perfectly clean sock. Another day, a small plastic toy soldier standing upright in the center. Where did this stuff come from? My yard is fenced. It felt less like nature and more like some weird, quiet prank was being played. Almost magical, but mostly just confusing.
I tried different things. I moved the birdbath slightly. I put a small cover on it overnight. Still, the water level would sometimes be mysteriously low, or some odd little trinket would appear. It wasn’t dramatic, just consistently… off. Unsettling, like trying to hold onto water, literally.

Eventually, I just sort of… stopped fighting it. I’d fill it when I remembered, fish out the weirdness when I saw it. The solid, dependable thing I wanted became this slightly puzzling, fluid situation. It’s still there, solid stone, but my interaction with it feels way less certain than I planned.
So yeah, that’s my little Neptune in Taurus story. Trying to build something solid (Taurus) and having it constantly dissolve or get weird in subtle ways (Neptune). Wasn’t a disaster, just a reminder that sometimes the tangible world gets a bit blurry around the edges.
