Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about this thing called “Venus 9 House”. I’ve been messing around with it for a bit, and I figured I’d share what I’ve learned. It’s not that complicated, honestly.
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out what my Venus sign even was. I used one of those online calculators. You just punch in your birth date, time, and place, and it spits out a bunch of stuff, including your Venus sign. Mine turned out to be in Libra, which I guess means something about liking balance and beauty. Whatever. Then I needed to figure out which “house” my Venus was in. That part was a little trickier.
Digging Deeper
I had to look at my whole birth chart to get the house part figured out. It’s like a big circle with a bunch of lines and symbols. Honestly, it looked like a bunch of chicken scratch to me. But basically, you find where your Venus symbol is, and then you count around the circle counterclockwise until you get to the ninth house. Each slice of the pie is a different house.

- I started by finding my Venus symbol on the chart.
- Then I looked up what the symbols for the different houses look like.
- Then I just counted over to the ninth slice, counterclockwise.
- Finally, I matched up the symbol in that house with what I looked up earlier. Boom, Venus in the 9th house.
Putting It All Together
Once I figured out that my Venus was in the ninth house, I started looking up what that supposedly means. Turns out, the ninth house is all about expansion, travel, higher learning, and philosophy, that kind of stuff. And since Venus is about love, relationships, and what you value, having it in the ninth house supposedly means you’re attracted to people who are different from you, or who have different beliefs. It can also mean you find love through travel or higher education.
Honestly, I’m not sure how much of this stuff I actually believe, but it was kind of fun to learn about. Maybe I’ll start paying more attention to who I’m drawn to and see if there’s any truth to it. Who knows, maybe I’ll meet the love of my life on some backpacking trip through Europe. Or maybe not. We’ll see! Anyway, that’s my little experiment with Venus in the ninth house. It’s a fun little rabbit hole to go down if you’re bored and have some time to kill.
Hope this was helpful to at least one person out there. Peace!
