Okay, so, the other day I started noticing the number 116 everywhere. Like, I woke up, and the clock showed 1:16. Then, I went to grab coffee, and the total came out to $1.16. It kept happening throughout the day. I was getting kind of freaked out, to be honest. I mean, what are the odds?
So, like anyone else, I googled “116 angel number.” Apparently, it’s a thing. A lot of websites talked about how angel numbers are messages from your guardian angels. I’m not really into all that stuff, but I was curious. Read through a bunch of articles, some were pretty out there, but a few points resonated with me.
- One thing that stood out was about trusting your intuition. The number 116 supposedly means you’re on the right path and should trust your gut. I’ve been second-guessing myself a lot lately, so that was interesting.
- Another interpretation was about manifesting your desires. It said that 116 is a reminder to focus on what you want and take action towards your goals. I guess I could use some of that.
- The number 1, which appears twice in 116, is apparently all about new beginnings and leadership. And 6 is related to balance and harmony. I found that there are different meaning about 1 and 6. So, when they appear together, it could be a sign to start something new while keeping things balanced in my life.
I decided to just go with it. For the next few days, I made an effort to listen to my inner voice more and started to work on one of those goals. I kept a small notebook to write down when I see this number and how I feel.

Honestly, nothing magical happened. But I do feel a bit more confident and focused. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I’m choosing to believe that seeing 116 was a little nudge in the right direction. It reminded me to pay attention to my intuition and go after what I want.
It’s kind of a fun experiment. I’m still seeing 116 from time to time. I even took a picture of a license plate with 116 on it the other day, just for laughs. Who knows, maybe there’s something to this angel number stuff after all. Or maybe it’s just a fun way to add a little bit of magic to everyday life. Either way, I’m enjoying the ride.
