Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “cardinal totem” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started out super skeptical, but also kinda curious. I mean, who doesn’t want a little extra luck or guidance, right?
Getting Started
First, I dug around online to find, what is about cardinal totem. I found that it is about spirit animal and symbolic meaning of the cardinal bird, which is often seen as a messenger from the spirit world. It represents vitality, passion and positive energy.
Then,I started to do some preparation.

- Find a quiet and comfortable space.
- Prepare a candle, notebook, and pen.
- Meditate for ten minutes to clear my mind.
My Cardinal Totem Deep Dive
I started paying more attention to when and where I saw cardinals. At first, nothin’. Zip. Zilch. I was starting to think the whole thing was a bust. But then, I went for a walk in the park, feeling kinda bummed, and BAM! There it was. A bright red cardinal, just chilling on a branch, looking right at me.
I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and just…felt. I know, it sounds corny, but I tried to connect with whatever energy that little bird was supposed to represent. I thought about what I was hoping for – more energy, more passion in my work, maybe a little sign that I was on the right track.
I opened my eyes, and the cardinal was still there! It hopped around a bit, then flew off. I grabbed my notebook and scribbled down everything I was feeling: energized, hopeful, and strangely…confident. Like I could tackle anything.
Keeping the Connection
I decided this wasn’t going to be a one-time thing. I started incorporating little reminders of the cardinal into my daily routine. I found a cool picture of a cardinal online and it is my phone’s wallpaper. And I keep an eye out for them whenever I’m outside. It’s become this little game I play with myself.
I will keep tracking on this, observe more and document more. Hope it will inspire me more!
