Okay, so the other day I was scrolling through Instagram, and I kept seeing the number 713. Like, everywhere. On license plates, clocks, even the number of likes on a random post. I’m not usually one for superstitions, but it felt like the universe was trying to tell me something. So, I did what any normal person would do: I Googled it.
Turns out, 713 is an “angel number.” I’d never really heard of those before, but apparently, they’re messages from, well, angels, or the universe, or your higher self – whatever you believe in. Anyway, 713 is supposed to be about embracing change, trusting your intuition, and stepping into your power. Cool, right?
My 713 Experiment
So, I figured, why not? I decided to make this a week-long experiment. Every time I saw 713, I would take it as a sign to do something that pushed me a little outside my comfort zone. Here’s how it went:

- Day 1: The Coffee Shop Convo. I saw 713 on a receipt. I was at my usual coffee shop, and there was this guy reading a book I loved. Normally, I’d just keep to myself, but 713! So, I awkwardly started a conversation. We ended up chatting for like an hour! Turns out, we had tons in common.
- Day 2: The Dance Class Dilemma. I saw 713 on the time while getting ready, and it was on a poster near the gym. I’d been thinking about trying a dance class, but I’m, uh, not exactly graceful. But, 713 flashed on the screen. I signed up, stumbled through the class, and actually had a blast! It wasn’t pretty, but who cares?
- Day 3: Speaking Up. Saw 713 on a bus stop. I was in a work meeting, and I had an idea that I thought was pretty good, but I was hesitant to share it. You know, imposter syndrome and all that. 713! I took a deep breath and spoke up. My boss loved the idea!
- Day 4: The Spontaneous Trip. 713 showed up on my computer screen. I saw a travel website’s ad, So I just randomly booked a weekend trip to a nearby city I’d always wanted to visit. I usually overthink these things, but 713 popped up, so I just went for it. Best. Decision. Ever.
- Day 5: Saying “No”. I see 713 on a grocery store display. A friend asked me to do something I really didn’t want to do. I usually say yes to avoid conflict, but 713 was my cue. I politely declined, and guess what? The world didn’t end.
- Day 6 and 7: Trusting My Gut. The last two days, I saw 713 in various, random places. I just used those moments to check in with myself, make sure I was making decisions based on what I wanted, and trusting my intuition.
Honestly, I’m kinda shocked at how much this little experiment impacted me. I felt more confident, more adventurous, and more in tune with myself. Maybe it was the angel number, maybe it was just the act of paying attention and taking action, but I’m definitely going to keep looking for those little signs, even if it’s not always 713. It’s a fun way to shake things up, and you never know what might happen! I just pushed myself and that’s the really result!
