Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 116 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, the time on my phone – it was seriously weirding me out. I’m not usually one for this kind of stuff, but it felt like too much of a coincidence. So, naturally, I Googled it.
Turns out, 116 is an “angel number.” I’d never even heard of that term before! Apparently, it’s a message from your, you know, guardian angels or the universe or whatever.
My Deep Dive into 116
First thing I did was try to figure out what it supposedly means. Most of the websites said similar things. Stuff like:

- Stay Positive: Keep your thoughts focused on what you want, not what you don’t want.
- Trust the Process: Things are unfolding as they should, even if you can’t see the whole picture yet.
- New Beginnings: Get ready for some fresh opportunities, especially related to your home or family life.
Honestly, the “new beginnings” part really resonated with me. I’ve been feeling kind of stuck lately, wanting to shake things up, but not really knowing how. So, I decided to take this whole 116 thing as a sign to actually do something about it.
Putting It into Action
I didn’t just sit around waiting for magical things to happen. I started making some small changes:
- Started a “Gratitude” List:Every morning, I write down three things I’m grateful for before starting my day. Sounds cheesy, but it does shift my mindset.
- Decluttered my apartment: getting rid of the extra stuff and making space, both physically and mentally.
- Reached out to some friends: I have been neglected for a while and planned some fun outings, to reconnect and shake off that stagnant feeling.
The Result?
Okay, no lottery wins or sudden dream job offers. But, I have to admit, I do feel different. More optimistic, more… open to possibilities. I feel more energized and it did improve my mood a lot.
I’m still seeing 116 occasionally, but it doesn’t freak me out anymore. Now, it’s just a little reminder to keep my head up and keep moving forward. Maybe it’s all in my head, maybe it’s not. But either way, it’s pushed me to make some positive changes, and that’s a win in my book.
