Okay, so today I decided to mess around with some numbers, just for kicks. I picked 55 and 28, don’t ask me why, just did. It’s not like there was a grand plan or anything. Just wanted to see what I could do with them, you know?
Round One: Addition
First, I added them up. Simple enough, right? 55 plus 28… that’s like, what, 83? Yeah, 83. Felt pretty good about that. Like I had accomplished something. Not bad for a random morning experiment.
Round Two: Subtraction
Then, I figured, why not subtract? So I took 28 away from 55. Did it in my head, which was a bit of a stretch, but I got there. 27. Boom. Felt like a math whiz, even though it’s like, elementary school stuff.

Round Three: Multiplication
Next, I thought, let’s get crazy and multiply these bad boys. This one I definitely needed a calculator for. Unless you’re some kind of human computer, who multiplies 55 by 28 in their head? Anyway, I punched it in and got… drumroll… 1540. A much bigger number, obviously. Felt kinda powerful, like I had conjured this big number out of thin air.
Round Four: Division
Finally, I decided to divide. 55 divided by 28. Now we’re getting into decimal land. Got a long, messy number: 1.96428571429 something something. It keeps going, which is kinda cool, right? The calculator can only show so many digits, but we all know the deets, it just goes on and on, like pi or something.
So, yeah, that was my little number adventure for today. Didn’t really have a point, just wanted to share the inside scoop. Sometimes you just gotta play around with things, see what happens. You might be surprised by the little discoveries you make. Plus, it’s kinda fun to mess around with a calculator, right? It is like playing the guitar or something, or maybe I am wrong, but any way, it’s fun. I know the most common figurative usage of the the term scoop is related to news, like, in journalism, but who wants the inside scoop on the fate of this ageing band? I don’t. So, I guess that is all, I will try to unplug for a while.
