Alright, so yesterday I was kinda zoning out, you know, just scrolling through the internet, when I kept seeing the number 428 everywhere. Like, on license plates, timestamps, even the total on my grocery bill – weird, right?
So, being the curious cat I am, I Googled “428 angel number.” Turns out, a bunch of people believe it’s a message from the universe or something, saying you’re on the right track financially and that your hard work is about to pay off. I’m like, “Okay, universe, I hear you!”
Now, I’m not usually one for this kinda stuff, but I’ve been hustling lately, trying to get a side project off the ground. It’s been a grind, lots of late nights and early mornings, so seeing this number felt… encouraging. So, I decided to run with it and treat it like a little experiment.
First thing I did was actually sit down and look at my finances. I figured if the universe is telling me I’m on the right track, I should probably figure out what track I’m actually on, you know? I used a budgeting app (YNAB, if anyone’s curious) and really dug into where my money was going. Turns out, I was leaking cash on a bunch of subscriptions I wasn’t even using anymore – classic!
Next, I spent a solid chunk of the day focusing on my side project. I’d been procrastinating on some of the more tedious tasks, like updating my website’s SEO and reaching out to potential clients. I buckled down and just did it. No more excuses.
Then, and this might sound kinda cheesy, I wrote down a list of my goals. Not just vague “get rich” kinda goals, but actual, actionable steps I could take to move my project forward. I’m talking things like “finish the marketing plan by Friday” and “reach out to three new contacts this week.”
Finally, I decided to treat myself a little. Not like a shopping spree or anything, but I ordered takeout from my favorite restaurant – a small reward for all the hard work. Plus, I figured, keeping my spirits up couldn’t hurt, right?
Now, I’m not saying that seeing the number 428 magically made my side project successful or anything. But it did give me a kick in the pants to get organized, focus on my goals, and actually take action. Maybe it was just a coincidence, maybe it was the universe giving me a nudge, who knows? But either way, I feel like I accomplished a lot yesterday, and that’s a win in my book. I will keep record of my progress to see if any good results come out of this!
