Okay, so I kept seeing the number 137 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks… it was getting a little freaky. I’m not usually one for “angel numbers,” but it was too consistent to ignore. So, I decided to do a little experiment.
My 137 Experiment
First, I Googled “137 angel number” just to see what the internet had to say. I found a bunch of stuff about it meaning new beginnings, trusting your intuition, and staying positive. Sounded good, but I wanted to see for myself.
So, I decided I was going to actively look for 137 for a week and record every time I saw it and what I was doing or thinking at the time. I grabbed a little notebook and made that my “137 Journal.”
- Day 1: Saw it on a bus number while I was thinking about starting a new project at work. Hmmm…
- Day 2: Showed up on my grocery bill. Total coincidence? Maybe. But I was also pondering whether to take a chance on a new recipe.
- Day 3: 137 likes on an Instagram post! This was a silly one, but I’d been nervous about posting it.
- Day 4: My coffee order number. I was feeling really down this day and trying to stay positive.
- Day 5: Noticed a street sign reading “137 Elm”. I remember taking it as a kind of instruction “Go to 137 Elm to find a new path”. I actually changed my route that day and came across a very nice street with flowers and trees and ended up having a good time there.
- Day 6 & 7: More of the same! Random appearances, but always when I was thinking about something important or feeling unsure.
By the end of the week, I was kind of a believer. It felt like every time I saw 137, it was a little nudge to keep going, to trust my gut, or to stay optimistic. I continued to write down. It was always in times I feel confused, like when I was having a really tough decision about whether to change my job. Or just need to keep going no matter what I am doing.
I don’t know if it’s “angels” or just my subconscious mind playing tricks, but I decided to keep paying attention to 137. Now, whenever I see it, I take a deep breath and remind myself to stay positive and trust the process. It’s become my little personal reminder to keep moving forward.
