Okay, so I’ve been seeing these feng shui crystal balls all over my social media, and I finally caved and decided to try one out. I’m a total newbie to this, so I figured I’d document the whole process.
Finding the Right Spot
First things first, I needed to figure out where to put this thing. I did a little bit of quick research(Cuz I do not know anything about it). I learned that placing it in the southwest corner of my room could help with relationships, and since mine could use a little boost, that’s where I decided to go. I cleared out a little space on my bookshelf, making sure it was free of clutter.
Getting the Crystal Ball
Next, I ordered the crystal ball. I just chose a simple clear one, I do not want make everything complicated. I chose a small one and it looked pretty enough. It came in the mail a few days later, all wrapped up in bubble wrap.

Cleansing the Crystal
I’d read online that you’re supposed to “cleanse” the crystal before you use it, to get rid of any negative energy. Sounded a bit woo-woo to me, but I figured, why not? I held it under some running water for a few minutes, just like I’d seen in a video. Then I patted it dry with a soft cloth.
Setting My Intention
Apparently, you’re also supposed to “set your intention” with the crystal. Basically, you hold it and think about what you want it to help you with. So, I closed my eyes, took a few deep breaths, and focused on my intention, hoping to bring more positive and loving energy into my relationships.
Putting it All Together
Finally, I placed the crystal ball in its designated spot on my bookshelf. I have to say, it actually looks pretty nice there! It catches the light and adds a little sparkle to the room.
The Waiting Game
Now, I guess it’s just a waiting game to see if it actually does anything. I’m not expecting miracles, but I’m open to the possibility of some positive changes. I’ll try to keep an eye on things and see if I notice any shifts in my relationships over the next few weeks. It’s kind of a fun experiment, even if it doesn’t end up working. I just tinkered with the crystal ball and try to bring me some luck.
