Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “iFate I Ching Love” thing, and I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. Here’s how it all went down.
The Start: Curiosity and Skepticism
I stumbled upon iFate’s I Ching stuff while, you know, randomly browsing the internet. I’ve always been a little curious about the I Ching, that ancient Chinese book of wisdom. I mean, love advice from something that old? Sounds interesting, maybe a little wacky, but I was game.
Diving In: Asking the Question
First, I spent some time, like, really thinking about what I wanted to ask. iFate recommends focusing your mind, so I tried my best. Took a few deep breaths, closed my eyes for a second, and typed in my question. It was something super general, like, “What’s the deal with my love life right now?” I know, pretty vague, but I wanted to see what it would give me.

The Process: Getting the Hexagrams
Then, to get to I-Ching Hexagrams, I did some virtual coin tosses. Six times. Click, click, click, and those coins, and it built up these two hexagrams – little stacks of broken and solid lines. One was supposed to represent my current situation, and the other was about where things might be headed.
- First toss: Heads.
- Second toss: Tails.
- Third toss: Heads.
- Forth toss: Tails.
- Fifth toss: Heads.
- Sixth toss: Tails.
The Reading: Making Sense of it All
The site spit out these two hexagrams with names and descriptions. Honestly, the language was a bit…flowery. Lots of metaphors and ancient-sounding stuff. I had to read it a couple of times to really get what it was saying. The first hexagram seemed to be talking about feeling a bit stuck, which, yeah, I could relate to. The second one was more about change and new possibilities, but also with some warnings about being too impulsive.
My Takeaway: More Questions Than Answers
So, did it magically solve all my love problems? Nope. But, it did give me some things to think about. The whole “being impulsive” thing definitely resonated. I have a history of rushing into things. Maybe it’s making me look at myself, and that’s always a good thing, right?.
I’m not sure if I totally believe in the I Ching now, but it was a fun experiment. It got me thinking about my situation from a different angle, and that’s something I would do again. I might even try it again with a more specific question next time. Maybe I will get the new result.
