Okay, so today I wanted to dig into this whole “Sun square Saturn transit” thing. I’ve been feeling kinda off lately, and a friend suggested looking into my astrological transits. I’m not a pro, but I do find this stuff interesting, so I figured, why not?
First, I grabbed my birth chart. You can get these online for free, just need your birth date, time, and location. I already had mine saved, so that was easy. Then, I checked an astrology website to see what transits are happening right now.
Lo and behold, there it was: Sun square Saturn. Apparently, this transit can make you feel restricted, burdened, and maybe a bit pessimistic. Sounded about right for how I’ve been feeling!

My Action Plan
- Acknowledged the feelings: I started by just admitting that, yeah, I’m feeling kinda down and that’s okay. No use fighting it.
- Looked for patterns: I spent some time journaling, trying to see if there were specific things triggering these feelings. Was it work stress? Relationship stuff? Just general blah-ness?
- Focused on what I can control: Saturn is all about structure and discipline, right? So I decided to focus on the things I could actually do something about.
- Made a to-do list: A simple, realistic one. Nothing crazy, just a few things I knew I could accomplish that day.
- Did not make time for self-care: It’s so easy. I decided to do a small thing such as to take a walk, I can get some fresh air.
- Reached out: I texted a couple of friends, just to chat. Didn’t necessarily dump all my feelings on them, but just connecting with people helped.
Honestly, just knowing that this is a temporary transit is helpful. It’s not going to last forever. By taking some small steps, I feel like I’m at least navigating it consciously, instead of just feeling lost and overwhelmed.
I’m still working through it, of course. But I definitely feel a little more grounded today than I did yesterday. Baby steps, right? And hey, maybe tomorrow I’ll even feel a little bit… optimistic? We’ll see!
