Alright, so, “55 34,” huh? Sounds cryptic, right? Well, it’s not some secret code, just the numbers I was wrestling with today. Let me tell you the whole messy story.
It all started this morning. I woke up with this idea to finally organize my digital photos. You know, the thousands of pics just sitting there, gathering digital dust. I figured I could categorize some of them in folders and finally see some kind of structure.
The Plan(that went out the window)
My initial plan was simple. I decided I’d make a few main folders – “Family,” “Friends,” “Travel,” that sort of thing. Then, inside each, I’d have subfolders for specific events or years. Seemed easy enough, right? Wrong.

The Mess Begins
- First, I started dragging and dropping. Easy peasy.
- Then I realized I had, like, 55 photos from my cousin’s wedding.
- Then there was another 34 from my own Birthday party.
I have a folder called “Family” and other one called “Events”, I just couldn’t figure out if it was correct to place the Wedding photos in “Family” and Birthday ones inside “Events”, you know, it’s all mixed, family and events… and It just messes with my head, thinking if I will remember where are they when I need to find them. It’s all so confusing!
The Realization
I spent, I kid you not, a good hour just staring at those 55 and 34 photos. I moved them back and forth, created new folders, deleted them, renamed things… It was a disaster. I ended up more confused than when I started!
Giving Up (for now)
Finally, I just threw my hands up in the air. “Forget it!” I said to myself. I left everything exactly where it was, in one giant, disorganized mess. The 55 and 34? They’re still sitting there, mocking me from their respective folders.
So yeah, that’s my “55 34” story. It’s a tale of good intentions, digital chaos, and ultimately, defeat. Maybe I’ll tackle it again tomorrow. Or maybe I’ll just embrace the mess. Who knows? For now, I need a break from those darn photos.
