Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, trying to figure out some stuff in my own life. I stumbled upon this whole “North Node conjunct Fortune” thing and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, who doesn’t want a little extra luck and destiny alignment, right?
First, I needed to figure out where my North Node and Part of Fortune even were in my birth chart. I used an online chart calculator. It spit out a bunch of symbols and numbers, and honestly, I felt a little lost at first.
I googled “North Node” and “Part of Fortune” separately to get a better sense of what they actually represented. North Node is apparently about your life’s purpose, the direction you’re supposed to be heading. Part of Fortune is about where you find joy and abundance – kinda like your personal pot of gold.

Then, I looked back at my chart and identified both symbols. I saw that they were pretty close together in the same zodiac sign. That’s a conjunction! Basically, it means their energies are blended together.
My Experiment Begins
So, with this newfound (and slightly confusing) knowledge, I decided to consciously work with these energies. I started by setting some intentions. What did I want to achieve in my life? Where did I want to grow? I wrote them all down in my journal.
Next, I looked at the zodiac sign where my North Node and Part of Fortune were hanging out. Let’s say, for example, it was in Libra (it wasn’t, but let’s pretend!). Libra is all about balance, relationships, and harmony.
- I started paying more attention to my relationships. Was I being fair? Was I communicating clearly?
- I also made a conscious effort to bring more balance into my life. Less work, more play. You know the drill.
- I even tried to surround myself with beautiful things, since Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty. I bought some flowers, lit some candles – the whole shebang.
The Results (So Far)
Honestly, it’s still early days. But I have noticed some shifts. I feel more…intentional. Like I’m actually moving towards something, instead of just drifting along.
I’ve also had a few unexpected opportunities pop up that seem to align with my intentions. Coincidence? Maybe. But maybe not.

It’s something that needs more time to see. So I am going to keep observing it. I am going to keep writing my records.
I’m not saying this is some magic bullet, but it’s definitely been an interesting experiment. It’s made me more aware of my own patterns and has given me a framework for making conscious choices. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!
