Okay, so today I want to talk about something I did – 60 24. Sounds weird, right? Let me tell you what it’s all about.
It all started when I hit the big 6-0. Sixty! It’s one of those numbers that makes you stop and think. All of a sudden, people around me, friends, and family started to, well, you know, pass on. It hit me hard. Like, life is really short. What have I been doing? What really matters?
So, I decided to take a good, hard look at my life, my health, my habits. It’s like, I’ve been on autopilot for years. Work, eat, sleep, repeat. And not always the healthiest choices, if you catch my drift.

The First Thing I Tried
- Getting enough vitamin D. I read somewhere that it’s super important, especially as you get older.
- I started paying attention to what I eat. More oily fish like salmon and mackerel. And eggs, red meat sometimes. It’s not just about vitamin D, but overall health, you know?
The Second Thing I Tried
- I also started adding bananas to my daily routine. I heard they’re good for you, packed with vitamins. Figs, too. Apparently, they are full of vitamin D, C, and A. Who knew?
But it’s not just about what I eat. It’s also about how I live. I’ve been trying to be more mindful. Taking time to appreciate the small things. Spending more time with loved ones. Because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, right?
So, 60 24 for me, it’s like a reminder. 60 years old, and 24 hours in a day. It’s about making those hours count. Making healthier choices, being present, cherishing the people around me.
It’s a work in progress, for sure. I’m not perfect, and I don’t have all the answers. But I’m trying. And I think that’s what matters. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about making an effort. Being a little bit better each day.
So, yeah, that’s my 60 24 story. Maybe it’ll inspire you to think about your own numbers. What do they mean to you? And what can you do to make the most of them?
