Okay, so, the other day I stumbled upon this “angel number” thing, and 1223 kept popping up everywhere. Like, seriously, everywhere. On the clock, on license plates, even on the microwave timer. It was getting kinda freaky, so I decided to do something about it, treat this as an interesting experiment to record.
My 1223 Experiment
First, I needed to understand what this whole angel number thing was, My understanding is very simple, it’s just like a “hint”, or some hidden messages.
Then, I jumped into it. My approach was pretty simple:

- Noticing: I started paying super close attention to when and where I saw 1223. Before, I’d probably just ignore it, but now, it was like a little mission every time.
- Journaling: I got a little notebook (nothing fancy, just a spiral-bound thing) and started jotting down every 1223 sighting. I wrote down the date, time, where I saw it, and what I was doing or thinking about at that moment.
- Reflecting: After a few days, I started looking for patterns. Was I seeing it more when I was stressed? When I was thinking about a specific problem? When I was feeling good? This is important to make this work.
- Taking Action: I saw that 1223 showed up at specific time and places. This required me to adjust my actions and plans to match it.
Here’s the thing: at first, it felt a little silly. Like, I’m a grown adult, why am I getting so worked up about a number? But the more I did it, the more I realized it was actually helping me be more mindful.
For instance, one day I kept seeing 1223 while I was wrestling with a tough decision about a project at work. I’d written down in my journal that 1223 felt like a push to “trust my gut” and “take a leap of faith.” So, I did. I made the decision I’d been avoiding, and it ended up being the right one. Coincidence? Maybe. But it felt pretty cool.
Another time, I noticed 1223 kept popping up when I was thinking about reaching out to an old friend. I’d been putting it off, making excuses. Seeing 1223 felt like a nudge to just do it. So I texted her, and we ended up having a great conversation. Again, maybe just a coincidence, but it felt significant.
So I did some action change about my life after I realized what 1223 tried to tell me, I started to change my daily plan, set up specific goals, I followed the “hint” and took action. After days of trying, something really started to change, I was getting better and more confident.
The whole 1223 thing, for me, ended up being less about mystical signs and more about paying attention to my life. It’s like the numbers were a trigger to make me stop, think, and reflect. And that, in itself, was pretty valuable. I made it!

Will I keep doing this forever? Probably not. But for now, it’s a fun little experiment, and it’s definitely made me more aware of the little moments in my day. It’s kind of like a weird, personal scavenger hunt, and who knows what I’ll “find” next.
