Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And today, I decided to really focus on the Knight of Wands, or as some folks call it, the “Knight of Flame.” I wanted to see if I could connect with the card’s energy, not just read about it.
First, I cleared my space. I lit a candle – a red one, ’cause it felt fiery and right – and put on some chill music, nothing with lyrics, just some instrumental stuff. I shuffled my deck, thinking about what I wanted to explore: action, adventure, that kind of thing.
Then, I laid out the cards. I didn’t do a fancy spread, just pulled the Knight of Wands and placed it in front of me. I stared at it for a good while, you know, really looking at the details. The horse rearing up, the knight’s determined face, the fiery colors… all of it.
Getting into the Zone
- Closed my eyes.
- Took some deep breaths.
- Imagined myself as the knight.
I pictured myself riding that horse, feeling the wind in my hair, feeling that sense of purpose, like I was on a mission. It was pretty cool, actually. I felt this surge of energy, like I could take on anything. No fear, just… forward momentum.
After a bit, I opened my eyes and grabbed my journal. I started writing down everything I felt, all the images that came to mind. Stuff about taking risks, starting new projects, not being afraid to fail. It was like the card was giving me a pep talk!
I’m no tarot expert, not even close. But this felt like a real, tangible way to connect with the card’s meaning. It wasn’t just about memorizing some keywords; it was about feeling the energy, experiencing it firsthand. And now. I have started making the brave first steps to acheive my intensions.
I think I’ll do this more often, with other cards too. It’s a cool way to tap into your intuition, your inner badass, whatever you want to call it. Might even help me finally start that project I’ve been putting off… who knows?
