Okay, so today I wanted to try something a bit different, something a bit more spiritual. I’ve been feeling kinda stuck lately, you know? Like I’m not really moving forward, just treading water. So, I decided to look into this whole “power animal” thing. And guess what? I got buffalo.
At first, I was like, “Buffalo? Seriously?” But the more I read about it, the more it made sense. Buffalo is all about abundance, grounding, and strength. Exactly what I need right now.
My Buffalo Power Animal Journey
Here’s how I went about it:

- First, I did some reading. I looked up what buffalo symbolizes and all that. There is plenty of information online. I learned that the buffalo is a big deal in many Native American cultures. They see it as a symbol of provision and gratitude.
- Then, I tried to meditate on it. I found a quiet spot, closed my eyes, and imagined a big, strong buffalo standing in a field. I tried to connect with its energy, feel its strength and stability. Honestly, it was harder than I thought it would be. My mind kept wandering.
- I also tried to incorporate buffalo into my daily life. Not like, literally, obviously. I found some cool buffalo imagery and put it up around my workspace. It’s a good reminder to stay grounded and focused.
- I started a gratitude journal. This is something that the buffalo spirit is supposed to encourage. Every day, I write down a few things I’m thankful for. It’s actually been really helpful. It makes me appreciate the good things in my life more.
So, has it worked? Well, it’s still early days, but I do feel a bit more centered. I’m not rushing into things as much, and I’m taking more time to appreciate what I have. Plus, thinking about the buffalo’s strength gives me a little boost when I’m feeling down. I went through a tough time last week, but I kept going and overcame it. I think this may be related to buffalo.
It’s definitely an interesting experiment. I’m not sure if I totally believe in all this power animal stuff, but it’s definitely given me some food for thought. I keep thinking about what it means to be grounded and how to be more grateful. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing.
I’ll keep you guys posted on how this buffalo journey goes. Maybe I’ll even start wearing buffalo-themed jewelry. Who knows? Life needs something new sometimes!
