Okay, so today I messed around with something called “hexagram 24”. Sounds fancy, right? It’s actually pretty cool once you get into it. I started off by basically trying to figure out what this thing even was. I did some digging online, found a bunch of websites that seemed kinda helpful. Most of them were about encoding and decoding stuff, like changing text into different formats – you know, Base64, MD5, URLs, that kind of thing.
So, I grabbed a bunch of these tools. Some were for encoding, some for decoding. You just paste your text in, hit a button, and boom – it’s transformed. I played around with a few of them, encoding some random text into Base64, then decoding it back. Just to see how it all worked, you know?
Experimenting with Text Transformations
- I took a simple sentence and converted it to Base64. It looked like complete gibberish, which was kinda fun.
- Then I used another tool to decode it back to normal text. It worked perfectly!
- I also tried encoding and decoding URLs. This is useful when you have weird characters in a web address.
Then I stumbled upon some other tools that seemed to be about solving puzzles and cryptography stuff. They talked about CTFs, ciphers, room escape games – that kind of stuff. It looked interesting, but I didn’t really dive too deep into that today. Maybe another time.
Anyway, I kept messing around with these encoding/decoding tools. There were a few that dealt with images and hex and binary, but I didn’t really get into those today. I mainly stuck with the text stuff.
Basically, I just spent the day playing around with these online tools, seeing what they could do. It was a pretty chill day of experimenting and learning. I didn’t really have a specific goal in mind, I just wanted to see what “hexagram 24” could lead me to. And you know what? I actually learned a thing or two about how text can be transformed and manipulated. Not bad for a day’s work, huh?
