Today I gonna talk about this hexagram 3 stuff.
First I just saw some posts online, saying “If you are looking for guidance in your spiritual life, you need to know the meaning of the 64 hexagrams from the i Ching Book of Changes.” I was like, what the heck is this? So I dug deeper.
Getting Started

I started to search more about these hexagram things. I saw another post mentioned Hexagram 21 and said, “It advises retreating into stillness for clarity and moderation. Hexagram 21 highlights decisive action to navigate challenges.” Then another one talked about Hexagram 23. “What about 23 as relating hexagram – what can that mean? Of course, there are 64 different ways a reading can change to Hexagram 23.” These made me more curious, so I decided to do a little experiment myself.
Digging Deeper
Then I found some more info about the lines in these hexagrams. A post said, “The first four lines of this hexagram symbolize a process of ridding ourselves progressively of all those upon whom we are accustomed to rely.” It’s getting a bit too deep for me, but I kept going. Then I came across something about Hexagram 23 again: “I started work recently to research a post on Hexagram 23, Stripping Away – a hexagram of loss, whether that means painlessly shedding what’s outlived its usefulness.” That sounded intense!
The Experiment
I thought, let’s try to understand this with some examples. I read about different rituals: “In various formulations, these rituals can be customized to work with all of the aspects of the Western esoteric conception of the universe— the five elements.” Okay, sounds like some magic stuff. Then I saw a question about a specific hexagram, “When I have a hexagram, for instance 27, and the first line is a changing line.” I figured I should focus on one thing at a time, so I picked Hexagram 3.

Other Stuff I Found
While I was at it, I also bumped into some random science stuff. Like this one: “Uses a single mechanism to repair multiple kinds of lesions in DNA. Specific repair mechanism for one particular form of damage caused by UV light. covalent link of adjacent thymine bases in.” Totally off-topic, but kinda cool, right? Then there was something about the human body: “What chemicals are released from the adrenal medulla? This is the system of glands located throughout the body that helps control important activities such as growth and sexual activity.” More random facts. And lastly, some physics thing: “what is speed and velocity in constant motion? changing velocity?Tags:Physics Quiz 2Velocity.” I guess my brain was all over the place.
My Takeaway
- I looked into what hexagrams are.
- I focused on Hexagram 3 specifically.
- I read about some related and unrelated stuff along the way.
So yeah, that’s my little journey into Hexagram 3. It’s a bit of a wild ride, but it’s interesting to see how these things connect, or don’t connect. I guess that’s it for today. It’s a bit messy, but hey, that’s life, right?
