Okay, so, today I really wanted to mess around with something a bit different, you know? I got this idea stuck in my head about the symbolism of circles. It sounds kinda basic, but trust me, it’s been a wild ride.
First off, I just started googling around, like, “circle symbolism” and stuff like that. Man, there’s a ton of info out there! It’s kinda overwhelming, to be honest. I was clicking through all these websites and reading about how circles are supposed to represent wholeness and unity and all that jazz. Sounds kinda new age, but bear with me.
So, after getting a general idea, I decided to try incorporating circles into my daily routine. It’s not as weird as it sounds, okay? I started by drawing a circle on a piece of paper and just staring at it for a few minutes each morning. Just trying to clear my head and focus.

- Then I tried something that was just more like meditating but with my eyes on the circle.
- After a week I changed how big it was each day.
- And I started to add colors in the circle to see if I felt different.
Honestly, at first, it felt pretty silly. But after a while, I started to notice something. It was like this simple act of focusing on a circle was actually helping me feel a bit more centered, you know? Like I was connecting with something bigger than myself. Or maybe I’m just going crazy. You tell me.
After that, I really went down the rabbit hole. I started reading about how different cultures use circles in their rituals and stuff. It’s pretty fascinating, actually. Like, some cultures see circles as a symbol of eternity, while others see them as a representation of the cycle of life and death. It’s all pretty deep, man.
I even tried incorporating circles into some of my creative projects. I doodled some mandalas, which are basically just fancy, intricate circles. I also played around with some circular designs in my graphic design software. It’s amazing how such a simple shape can be used in so many different ways. I used to think circles were boring before I started this journey.
I’m still not entirely sure what to make of all this. I mean, I’m not saying that circles have magical powers or anything. But I do think there’s something to be said for the power of symbolism. And it made me realize how much I didn’t know.
Personal Reflection
It’s like, by focusing on this simple shape, I’ve been able to tap into something deeper within myself. And that’s pretty cool, right? I really didn’t know what I was doing at first but I feel like I discovered a lot. Maybe I will keep practicing in some way. I will see where it takes me. I might try a square next and see what happens.
